Hello! My name is Philip Mun, and I play the violin. I have been playing the violin for almost 10 years now, the orchestra for 6 years, and I have had many amazing opportunities throughout my music education, that I am happy to share with you! I am currently a violinist in the Young People’s Symphony Orchestra, and my teachers are Jeremy Cohen and Julie Athayde. I will be happy to assist you to become a better musician!

Hi there! My name is Kate Kabenina, and I’m a sophomore at Campolindo High School. I’ve had about 8 years of experience playing the violin and studying music theory. I have completed 9 MTAC test levels with Honors, and am going to take the last (Advanced) one, this year. Currently, I am studying with Irina Samarina, a doctorate in music. I’ve participated in various musical competitions, both locally and internationally. I am currently co-concertmaster of the San Jose Youth Symphony, Philharmonic Orchestra, and last year I was concertmaster of SJYS Chamber Orchestra. I’m excited to start helping you with your music studies!

Hi! I’m Ava Spalding, a Junior at Campolindo High School, and I have been playing the piano for 10 years and the flute for 7 years. Making music is one of my favorite things to do that I love to share that passion with my students and help them improve! I am happy to teach any style of music that lets students enjoy playing, although I have greater knowledge of classical music for both flute and piano. I look forward to working with you!

Ellena is a sophomore at Campolindo High School and is in the symphonic band. She is entering her sixth year as a flutist. Ellena was second principal in the Massachusetts District Honor Band. She also has past experience playing the piano. Ellena is currently taking private lessons with Sarah Lambardo. She loves to play music and wants to share her passion with others!

Hi! My name is Elsie Ceridono, and I am a freshman this year at Campo and would love to give lessons on electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and ukulele. I started out playing the ukulele, and then in 5th grade I started playing the guitar and I love it! I played with the Stanley Middle School Jazz Messengers all three of my years at Stanley, and I was also part of the Contra Costa Honor Jazz Band. Now, I play in the Campolindo Jazz Band. On my guitar I mainly play jazz and pop music, but I would love to help you with any of the styles of music that you are interested in learning. I hope to see you soon!
